Bodega Antiqua Casa La Guardia

Llena mi vaso con más de ese vino delicioso.

I cannot remember when I visited this old traditional bodega/bar Antiqua Casa La Guardia the first time,

however, the 2nd time was 2004 and after that, there have been many, many visits every year, the latest December 2019.

Bodega Antiqua Casa La Guardia

named after its wine-growing founder, José de la Guardia who opened the bodega in 1840 to sell his Malaga wines to the general public.

The present owner Antonio Garijo, and his long-serving staff are all experts of Malaga wines and sherry's and can explain the difference between the various Malaga "vinos" and sherry...

Innside Bodega Antigua Casa La Guardia

is not a very big place and best described as one long room. One side is filled with huge barrels of Malaga sherries and vine.
