Around Paros Island
Paros island suits anyone, any age group and offers a good mixture of Greek hospitality, charming inland and costal villages and smallish towns. Excellent and varied accommodation, international atmosphere, good nightlife, great selection of tavernas, bars, retaurants. Interesting ancient monuments monasteries and churches and some spectacular sandy beaches.
Parikia town and port
Parikia, a pleasant town and busy Port
I like the traditional white and blue painted houses, small and narrow streets in the old part of town, nice town squares, shops, tavernas, bars and restaurants. Most, if not all, of the ferries dock here, which makes the Parikia port busy and creates a lively atmosphere
