To recommend the right restaurant-taverna is more or less impossible therefore I choose ten restaurants-tavernas in no particular order, with a varied menu, different style, and I am convinced that at least one of them will be your favourite in Mykonos town.

Located near the popular night stop Scandinavian bar and Disco.

Lovely pizza and pasta dishes made with fresh ingredients. Try the Linguini with crab meat, or go for the delicious spicy penne D’arrabiato with homemade blend of dried red pepper tiny pieces (hot and spicy). The menu also includes varied meat dishes.

along he alley named Kalogera, old town Al Fresco dining outside, on both side of the alley. .

Lucky Fish is not only a good fish and seafood restaurant, but they also offer menu dishes for Vegetarians and Meat eaters. Several delicious puddings like the Chocolate Tagliatelle. If you like Cocktails, they serve that as well.

located close to Pasta Fresca Barkia and Scandinavian Bar. Smallish restaurant, busy and atmospheric, friendly staff.

A slightly different approach to their souvlaki, finishing up with stylish presentations. Souvlaki's chicken, pork, beef, and sausages. Varied menu , Tzatziki, Grilled feta cheese with tomato, pepper, herbs like Oregano and olive oil.

Tucked away in Goumenio Square, same building complex as Lucky Fish.

Eva Garden enjoys four dining areas. The hidden garden, near the street, dining room and the veranda. Nice and romantic atmosphere. Traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes. Varied menu. Try the yummy Moussaka.

The one of the very best restaurant is located in the middle of Mykonos town. Attractive looking corner site.

The menu is not grandiose, but Oh Boy do they deliver a fine dining experience and food presentation. Lovely starters. Fresh fish like Sea bass. Excellent meat dishes Lovely dessert menu.

The prices are on average at the higher end.

Located right by the sea, (Little Venice area) more or less next to the famous Paraportiani Orthodox Church.

After 30 odd years serving the best cocktails in Mykonos Town they have completely changed direction and today they are a very good restaurant, with a tasty popular

Greek and Mediterranean menu influence. Seafood is excellent, try the creamy seafood risotto.

Located on one of the narrow winding streets to Maereio, Kalogera 16, is in the center of the Mykonos old town.

Tiny, with only three tables outside, a few more tables and seats inside and you can even have a meal at the bar. to Maereio is serving delicious home-made Mykonian specialities and Greek cuisine is simple but flavourful and very tasty.

The atmosphere here created by the twin brothers Dimitris and Sideris and Matina the waitress is second to none. One of my favourites.

Located in Gelou Square, in Mykonos town, close to the famous Windmills. This is an authentic Tratorria offering Mediterranean and Italian flavoured tasty dishes.

Traditional menu offers authentic ingredients prepared with care by a pizzaiolo and baked in a traditional stone oven. Lovely homemade dessert.

A good wine list, featuring Italian as well as Greek wines.

sits at the edge of Mykonos’ old harbour. Near the fish market.

Visit the early morning fish market and then continue with a breakfast or brunch at Vegera. Delicious omelettes, varied sandwiches with an extra plus for their Club Sandwich.

Vegera Restaurant menu presents local Cuisine, Greek, Seafood and Vegetarian selection.Try their hors’ oeuvres.
