For sunny days,
which are in the majority, reserve a table outside on the large terrace which offers a width of picturesque scenery over the countryside down to Lake Vinuela and further down to the sun reflecting water of the Mediterranean and it also includes a wonderful view of the highest mountain in the area, Maroma, (2.050m)
For many first-time visitors, to be seated indoors in one large room can feel a bit daunting, especially if you are only two people.
Finca Oasis Las Palmeras is a place to visit with some of your family and/or friends that like you enjoy really good food, well-presented, good size portions at an affordable price.
With a large outdoor garden area in combination with the seating capacity indoors, there is no better place in the area for large events like weddings, entertainment and so on. They even offer a play area for children.
Notes from our late visits 2021
From the menu, we selected a wide variety of mouth-watering starters and salad.
Fried goat’s cheese with dried fruits, Croquetas, Fried aubergine with cane honey, Sopa of the day. One of our favourites is the Grilled Langustinos, sprinkled with flakes of sea salt that you dip into a wasabi mayonnaise. Some of us shared the excellent Ensalada Oasis.
The main course menu offers 19 different dishes to choose from.
Salmon Pastry is delicious, the exquisite fish and Seafood Risotto. The Beef Burger served with goat cheese, caramelized onion is a good and tasty choice. The Grilled Secreto Iberico is sensational, the Oxtail is a scrumptious main course.
The attractive dessert menu, include Grandma Teresa Special dessert
Crepe in cognac flambe, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Yummy!
The friendly service was excellent.
The indoor atmosphere was relaxed and the natural daily light from the large windows created a warm feeling.
To be seated at a round table is great, eye contact and easy to communicate with anyone in the party.
We all shared a few bottles of the red and white house wine, Must have been good as all the bottles were empty when we left.
