Puerto Pollensa

originally a fishing village and it still retains the time of old tradition with the afternoon stroll along the promenade between the attractive marina past the cafes, bars, and restaurants along the well-known Pine Walk and as far as the Ilia D’Or Hotel.

No doubt about it, this is a popular resort with all the expected holiday services, sandy beaches, various holiday accommodations from hotels to self-catering villas and apartments. Bars and restaurants, shops, and so on.

The old Pollenca town

is located approximately 5km inland from the beaches and the port of Puerto Pollenca. The old town with its pretty streets and squares are worth a visit or two. A good and varied selection of cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Climb up the cypress bordered 365 steps to Calvari Hill with its chapel. Stone fountains, the Baroque Monastery of Santo Domingo.

There is also a Roman bridge – well preserved on the outskirts of town

Approximately 300 stalls selling food, crafts, shoes, hats, clothes, plants... and in addition there are all kinds of Mallorquin products as well,

Between Pollenca and Puerto Pollenca, there is plenty of countryside space, where most of the holiday villas are located with mature gardens and private swimming pools.

Many of the villas offer beautiful mountain views.
