Periana Olive Day 2019
Periana's yearly " olive oil day " celebration was originally penciled in for the 6th and 7th of April 2019, however, due to poor weather conditions, it was cancelled and rescheduled for 16th June.
Periana's "liquid gold" the Olive Oil Day is celebrated from around 10:00 hours in the morning and starts with the traditional breakfast with bread, oil, beans, coffee.
Over 1000’s of Paella Lunches is served
At around 14:00 hours the queue is well over 100 meters long waiting to be served Paella including bread and beverage for €1.50!

During the day there are ample opportunities for tastings, local producers selling their products from their stalls. There are also crafts and paintings, music performances and various award presentations. Local bars and restaurants are full of life. It's a fun day for all ages.
